Last night Tyreek Hill showed his blazing speed during a then game-tying touchdown. After showing no situational awareness (scoring too quickly to allow the Patriots to march right down and kick a game winning field goal) Tyreek Hill was greeted by the bird and some bud light by Patriot Fans.
You see stuff like this at pretty much every game, every week.
I'm sure he wasn't talking shit to the fans at all as he ran up to them after scoring his 3rd touchdown of the night. No way, Tyreek Hill is a model citizen. Should someone have thrown beer on him? Of course not, it's not smart but lets get off the fucking high-horse and fake caring, especially over a scumbag like Tyreek Hill. It's fucking beer, it's harmless, it's funny. It's not a big deal, but since it's the Patriots and was a nationally televised game it's like this fan shot him. This isn't abuse. If you wanna learn about abuse maybe you should talk to Tyreek Hill's fiance? If you seriously say "Stay Classy" about an opposing fan base having a fan do something stupid (especially working for PHILLY) you can suck a kick rocks. All cities have shitty fans. Just like all cities have good fans. You can't lump everybody together (excluding Philly of course)
YOU GUYS!!!!! He could've gotten hurt!!!
In order to get ahead of this the Patriots did a classic 2018 overreaction by banning this fan FOR LIFE. Over sorta hitting Tyreek Hill with beer.
Can that be seriously enforced? As long as you have a semi-different haircut and don't buy the tickets directly how can this be enforced? This is so fucking stupid my blood is boiling. Anybody who agrees with this decision needs to write a 5 page paper explaining why. Kick the kid out sure, but this is such overkill. If you want to keep the players "safe" maybe they shouldn't go running up the stands?
What world do we live in? A millionaire is going after a stupid drunk fan for a truly harmless act. A scummy act, but harmless act. Unless Hill is a celiac then what are we doing here?
Of course the biggest scumbag agent in the game Drew Rosenhaus wants to take legal action. I am actually fucking pissed right now, leave this poor, likely drunk kid alone. No need to ruin his life for fucking spilling beer on a dude who has beat up multiple women. Kick him out of the game and move on.
This is not the same as the Yankee fans pouring beer on the A's fan because the A's fan was just minding his own business when the Yankees (before they got eliminated in 4 games, being outscored at home 20-4 in the ALDS to division rival Boston) were blowing the doors off the A's in the Wild Card Game. That was legitimate scumbag behavior. But what it's not like is when a Yankee fan threw a fucking beer bottle at Craig Kimbrel in the bullpen. That is the shit that could hurt someone. That's a million times worse than what this 21 year old mass hole did and it's not even a debate. Look all fan bases have shitty fans, just like all demographics have shitty people. Where it gets dangerous is when you lump everybody together. But to say all fans from X city are scumbags because of isolated incidents is wrong (again, Philly withstanding) They don't represent everybody. Same way hating an entire group of people because of the shittiness of a few is racist. Use your brain to make judgement. I don't think I've ever agreed with a take more.
P.S. #hiredozo
double P.S.
is censoring the middle finger the most pointless censoring of all-time? Of course squid nation bleacher report does.
