Song of the Day April 13th

Song of the Day for April 13th 2016 is Badfish by Sublime. Comes off of their 1992 album 40 oz. to Freedom.

I heard Sublime on the radio the other day it gotten really excited because they remind me of summer so much. When I think summer music, Sublime is one of the first bands that comes to mind. Once it starts warming up it's Sublime season. We're only a couple months away now from summer and to me they are the ultimate summer band, I think of summers growing up and kids were trying to be cool and show the "older music" (this is in like summer 2006) they were into and everybody would listen to them. Music is all about triggering memories and when I think Sublime I think summer. We'll all be at the beach before you know it.

I picked Badfish just because it's my favorite song by them. Probably should have done something a little more upbeat after talking about how much they remind me of summer and good times, but again it's my website, let me do me. Really sucks Brad Nowell died so young we were robbed of a great band that was really starting to take off. Who knows what could have been?
