Song of the Day April 4th

Song of the Day for April 4th is "Give Me A Try" by the Wombats. Comes off of their 2015 album 'Glitterbug". 

I've heard this song a few times on WBRU recently, really liked it but had no idea who this band was. So I Shazaamed it. Such an underrated app. Blows my mind how it works, all technology does. But I'm not going down that rabbit hole right now.

I did a little more research about the Wombats aka looked them up on wikipedia. Learned that they're from England but I could've told you that after listening to this song for 20 seconds. I've started to get a lot more into British bands and TV shows a lot of good shit across the pond. Watch Catastrophe if you like a good romantic-comedy tv show. I would even considering visiting that dark pit just because of the music that comes from England. 

Anyways this song is really good. Very upbeat, like a better version of Walk the Moon. Very relatable for me, I'm all about trying to get the ladies to give me a try. So far (not) so good. This song is about a year old, but just starting to pick up some stream on American alternative radio. Interesting video to say the least...love the blonde at the 2 minute mark.
