Are The Red Sox Going to Continue  "Win, Dance, Repeat" in the Playoffs?

The run starts tonight. The Boston Red Sox are back in the playoffs for the first time since their magical 2013 World Series run.  Red Sox take on the Cleveland Indians in the ALDS tonight. The storylines write themselves as the tribe is led by former Sox manager Terry Francona and their roster features multiple former Red Sox World Series champions. But what I want to talk about is dancing. This season after victories Red Sox outfielders have partaken in a little victory celebration dance tradition.

The two constants all year have been all star outfielders Mookie Betts (RF) and Jackie Bradley Jr (CF) who've teamed up with a revolving door of left fielders to make up the win tradition. Its crazy how many guys the Sox have thrown in LF this year.  Totally forgot Rusney Castillo was a living person. He should be in jail for life for stealing 72 million dollars from the Red Sox. Fleece city.

Basically how the dance works is all 3 guys meet up in CF. They then do some little hand-jive type situation (boy do I sound white) and then whoever had the best game usually poses for a fake picture taken by the other two guys. As the season went on they added a bunch of new stuff, most notably JBJ's "ski jump" dance. And if you've somehow been living under a rock this year, here is a video showing a good majority of all the team's dances from this season.

Fans (including myself) have soaked up all season long. It's fun and that's what sports are supposed to be, fun. However with the magnitude of October baseball I ask the following question "Are the Red Sox going to keep doing this in the playoffs?"

First off, I know they have to win to even have this be an issue. So if they are doing it, it's a good thing because it means the Sox won but my only question is should they continue to do it?

I'm very torn because one hand they've been doing it all season and you don't want to switch things up now. Stick with what got ya here basically. But on the other I think it is kind of a bad look. Say the Sox are down 3 games to 0 in the ALCS and they win game 4. Are they going to dance then?

I'm not sure.

I know this is the franchise that has always been loose and is the team that did comeback from 3-0 hole in the ALCS, but I'm just saying, I think it would rub a lot of people the wrong way if they were celebrating when down in a series or on the brink of elimination. You want this team to have fun and everything, but at the same time, winning is the #1 priority.

It appears the Sox are going to keep the dance going in the playoffs as the hashtag #WinDanceRepeat is trending on twitter and they've tweeted about it already today.  I'm just really torn. I hate sounding like an old man but it might not be the best idea in the playoffs. But if they are winning and playing well I have 0 issue with the dance. I don't know, I'm on the fence. What do you think? Let me know in the comments. Haven't had a comment in a minute. All I know is if they do this dance 11 times in the next few weeks I'll be a very happy man.
