Even though we should all know the deal by now, I apologize for the last post time. I wanted to get this posted with more notice, but I had an appointment with my shrink at 5:00 pm. As Marshawn Lynch once said "take care of ya'll mentals."
Tonight is the 16th edition of #DozVsTheDozen, and it's a rematch of #DVTD XII. We've got (4) Experts against (16) Troops. In #DVTD XII the final score was Experts: 12; Doz: 11; Troops: 11. Tonight, I'm setting the line at Experts -2.5; Over/Under: 19.5.
On Tuesday, I only put up a nine-spot; anytime I fail to break double digits is a failure (unless I somehow win). I gotta be better. Hundreds of thousands of people aren't tuning in to watch me score 9 points.
The last time the Experts played, we tied with 11; I guess is better than losing by 1-2 points which seems to be the norm in the last few episodes. I'm almost positive I haven't had an outright victory since #DVTD IX. It's a big night on the sports calendar with Celtics-Heat and the red hot J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets! on Thursday Night Football! Is there a better way to get into the athletic spirit than watching some brain competition? I think not!
