I missed a majority of the pre-show festivities, and actual ESPYs last night because I was working. Also because the ESPYs are kind of irrelevant. There's a reason they are on the one day a year where there's no sports. Nobody cares. All they're good for is for some story that will make you cry, and a few bad sport jokes. I will give it to host Peyton Manning for ripping KD though, mainly because I'll support anybody who rips KD.

As for the ESPYs, sports awards are different from other televised awards. Sports aren't like tv, movies or music where their respective awards ceremony is the main platform for recognition. I'm sure musicians dream about winning Grammys and being recognized. Not sure the same can be said here. These are people who playing for championships. Nobody cares who was the ESPYs best NFL player in 2013. They care about who won the Super Bowl, or who was MVP that season. Plus any sports awards that gives Aaron Rodgers best NFL player when Matt Ryan was MVP and Tom Brady did what he did last year is a joke, but I digress. I was actually able to catch this clip live and it pissed me off then, and pissed me off now. Godforbid you say a woman is attractive on a red carpet in 2017. What a chauvinistic pig! Just as a guy who hates confrontation I did not see a need for this kind of awkward exchange. Check it out. Hannah Storm was interviewing my dude P.K. Subban about his season, and first ESPYs. P.K. makes a harmless joke about how hot it is at the awards, which were held in Los Angeles. saying "that it's even hotter outside than Lindsey Vonn looks today, which is pretty hot". It was harmless. It's not like he was like "her ass looked siccckk in that dress" or "damn I hope Lindsey, lemme milk dem titties" which I think we all can agree would be a ridiculous thing to say in an interview, or in public. Instead, it was an athlete making a simple play on how hot it was outside, in that suit, and how beautiful Lindsey Vonn is, something everybody can agree on. Then Hannah Storm goes into how strong she is, and how big of a role model she. Because oh no, someone referenced how beautiful a female athlete is. Let's get him! Also interesting take by Hannah for someone who dated Tiger Woods post car accident lolol. While she definitely is a role model and great athlete, she's come back from a ton of injuries to compete again. This whole exchange just felt kind of uncomfortable, and unneeded to me. Idk, I hate talking about this shit because I don't want to seem sexist, but like if we are in a world were a mere remark like that can't fly, I'm all set with this world. I hate the climate we're in where she felt she had to say that to "make up" for Subban's remarks. Did Hannah Storm really think what P.K. said was bad? I genuinely want to know. He wasn't disrespectful, it was a crappy joke and she's acting like he said the only reason people care about Lindsey Vonn is because he's hot. (Which still may be true, name me 3 other female downhill skiers in the next 30 seconds) It's not like they were at a ski event and he made a reference to her appearance instead of her ability, which I think could be considered disrespectful. It's a fucking meaningless awards show and Lindsey wore this. 
She is fucking hot. And she wants you to know it, and there's nothing wrong with that. Do you girl, you worked for that body. I mean look at her IG. She knows what she's working with. She posted this hours after Tiger Woods got arrested for a DUI last may. Interesting time for an ass shot on the Monte Carlo coast.
I'm just saying there was no need to get upset with P.K. said last night, and if you disagree that's fine. You're just not someone I want to be associated with.
P.S. Here's some more "hot" Lindsey Vonn! Sorry Hannah for being such a pig. I totally don't think women deserve equality because I think P.K. Subban did nothing wrong last night! What a pig I am!! Repeal the 19th Amendment!
