Happy Birthday Eddie Vedder!

When I saw Eddie Vedder was trending on twitter this morning, like many people I feared the worst. Either dead or he got #metoo'd. Thankfully its just his birthday and while I consider myself a big PJ and Eddie fan I did not know that off the top of my head. In my defense I did not know today was the 23rd when I woke up. #drinkingdoesntmakeyoucool

Happy to see the good news, as a journalist, I felt the need to share this positive information. This is where I made the mistake of saying Eddie Vedder has the greatest voice in rock history.

In perfect social media fashion the few people who disagreed are **to tune of Black** tattooed on-my-brain, not the fact that simply wishing one of my favorite musicians ever HBD via tweet would get DOL so much buzz.

Oh wouldn't it be something if being a hashtag good guy about Eddie Vedder stiiiiiiiiiiiiill (being) aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive was partly responsibly for DOL blowing up? That's not why I got in this business, but if it happens so be it. Happy Birthday to Eddie Vedder, IMO the greatest voice in rock history!
