I saw this on twitter last night and just absolutely lost it. This made me smile from ear to ear. Videos like this are what makes the internet a great place despite all the shitty stuff you gotta deal with on a daily basis. It's a bunch of grandmas and some random old Asian dude (I think that's a guy, could be wrong) dancing to a Bad and Boujee remix. Sometimes you don't need to try to put your own spin on a video. This is amazing without anything from me.
These old birds could be anybodies grandma and that's what makes it great. I can picture any retirement home full of Berthas and Dorothys anywhere in this great nation practicing for 2 hours them getting trotted out onto an NBA court for our enjoyment. They're so bad, but are trying to so hard. It's amazing. I'm mesmerized. We've seen the dance teams do the same boring dances to the same tired songs for years. I give the Magic all the credit in the world for taking a chance and giving us this dance instead. I could watch this 100 times today and still smile. It's just a hilarious concept. Especially when you think of the lyrical content to the song they're doing this to. Good thing it's a remix otherwise I bet at least 1 grandma would just stop mid dance because it upset her. If there's one thing I know about Grandmas it's that they do not like bad language. If I let a "fuck" slip out in front of my grandma you'd think I'd just committed murder. But just imagine seeing your grandma dance out of rhythm with a bunch of her friends from the retirement home at center court of an NBA game? It's hilarious, I'll take this over an NBA dance team anyway.
