Is Curb Coming Back?

Ever since Curb Your Enthusiasm ended in 2011 fans have been wanting more. There seems to be a rumor every year of so that season 9 may be happening, but until this interview we really haven't heard any details about Larry David's interest in coming back. Technically this isn't even from the horse's mouth but I trust JB Smoove, aka Leon. After all, he was wearing glasses in this interview.

Larry David has been back in the public eye a lot recently with his Bernie Sanders impression on SNL which has been funny, but it isn't Curb. He started in an HBO movie "Clear History" in I think 2013 which if you haven't seen it, go to HBOGO and find it, absolutely hilarious and the cast is awesome. My man Jon Hamm is in it as well. What a handsome combo.....Jon Hamm and Larry David. 

I'm not gonna keep saying JB because he will always be Leon, so Leon gave a little insight to Larry's recent thoughts about Curb. If what he said was true, I think we may be in luck. Essentially Larry was the one who brought up a potential comeback, not Leon, which IMO must be tough for Leon to not bring up every single day so he can get a job. I know he's been in other stuff since Curb but as I said he's kind of typecast always as a Leon type and there's nothing like the original Leon, for my money one of the funniest characters I've ever watched.  So if Larry is in, I'd imagine the show would be back, idk if it's that simple but it should be.

With a show like Curb it's all about LD (I didn't like how Rich Eisen called him LD, seemed a little try hard to me, oh look at me I'm Rich Eisen I'm so cool I'm gonna call Larry David "LD", kick rock Rich!) HBO would be fools to not want the show back, it's all about Larry, the ball (not glove) is in his court. 

Waking up and seeing this video just makes me so excited, the world needs Larry David to call out people for being ass holes more than ever, A LOT has changed since 2011 (when Curb ended). Just imagine the bits they could do with the current social and political climate now. I need a Palestine chicken episode except with BLM like I need air. With everybody being so soft and PC today I feel like Larry could have a field day with all the potential ideas of shit to make fun of. I just want as much humor that makes PC losers cringe and complain as possible, and there's nobody better at that than Larry. The awkwardness or events  that always came full circle in episodes of Curb was some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen. So if Larry decides to comeback and give us more Curb that'd be pretttttty, pretttttty, prettttty good. 


P.S. Curb Season 8 may have been one of the funniest seasons of television I've ever seen. That's when I really got into Curb, I had seen episodes before, but that summer on Sunday nights, the final season of Entourage (which wasn't that good) and Curb were appointment tv. The last episode with Michael J. Fox and the gay 7 year old was laugh out loud funny.
