That's right ladies and gentlemen, as of midnight (I think that is when the suspension officially ended) Tom Brady is free again! As the Great Martin Luther King, Jr once said "Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, we are free at last"
I too have a dream, and it is for the Patriots to win the Super Bowl (again) Julian Edelman, who once compared losing Brady to having a friend go to jail, said it perfectly. #free Brady is now out on parole, but he may get locked up again after Sunday, as he may get charged with murder after what he does to the Browns. Spread could be Pats -24 and they'd still cover. After 4 weeks away Tommy can now come back to 1 Patriot Place and it couldn't be better timing. Although I'm sure he had a nice time sunbathing naked in Italy and hanging out with his alma mater in Ann Anbor, I bet Brady cannot wait to be back. (Uhhh ya think, Doz?) When the Patriots started 3-0 without Brady, a lot of fans (including myself) got big heads and thought this team could win no matter who was missing. I think we all learned yesterday that is not the case, as the Pats got shutout at home against the Bills of all teams. Congrats Rex, I hope your wife let you lick her feet after the game, you sick mother fucker. I missed the entire game, which is something I haven't done in years, but had a preeeetty good excuse as I was at the Red Sox for David Ortiz Day. They lost too :( Even after the loss I'm not too worried about this team (Except for Gostowski. Dude just misses kicks now huh? Not ideal) But if you told me the Pats were going to go 3-1 without Brady I would've signed up for the all day. Everybody said the Cardinals would kill the Pats, but they went into Arizona and beat them in their house. Although now the Cardinals may not be as good as everybody thought as they've sitting at 1-3 at the 1/4 mark of the season. Only thing that sucks is now we have to lose another regular season game because I hate the idea of going 18-1 again. Legit makes my skin crawl. After getting shut out at home for the first time since 1993 the Patriots head to Cleveland, just like the Red Sox who are facing the Indians. Only difference is that the Indians won the AL Central and the Browns are 0-4. I guess the Cavs magic can only rub off on one team. In Brady's first game back I wouldn't be surprised if he threw 12 touchdowns just to make up for all the time he missed. I mean, if you break it down it's only 3 a quarter.
