A Pennsylvania man was arrested after police say he murdered his female friend when she rejected his marriage proposal, according to NBC Philadelphia. Christopher Tucker, 34, has been charged with murder and criminal homicide for allegedly killing 19-year-old Tara Serino, who was last seen by her family early on the morning of October 30. According to local police, Tucker asked Serino to marry him at his home in Berks County, Pennsylvania, sometime between Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon. Serino rejected the proposal, stating that she was still sleeping with other men. The victim then allegedly made an off-hand comment that Tucker should "just kill her." Police say Tucker flew into a fit of rage, choking Serino, snapping her neck, poking her eyes out and beating her with a hatchet until she died. The suspect then wrapped the teen's body in a rug inside his house and fled to Illinois, where he was detained at a rest stop after he was caught attempting to break into a farmer's combine on Halloween. NBC Philadelphia reports that Tucker confessed to murdering Serino after he was arrested, which led detectives to find her body in his home. He is currently being held in an Illinois jail. Of all the names in the world, this murderer is really named Christopher Tucker? Call me Dicky V because you cannot be serious. In a short of reverse Rush Hour situation, Chris Tucker clearly did understand the words that were coming out of her mouth. Quite literally, in fact, as he snapped her necked, gauged her eyes out and beat her up with a hatchet (classic overkill if you ask me). Look, I'm not saying this woman deserved to die. Quiet the contrary. I hate when people say "she was asking for it" in situations where a scantily clad coed is unfortunately "mistreated". Not to get into semantics but she technically did ask for it. By the looks of it this guy was real piece of shit, not someone you should be making such remarks to, no matter how lighthearted in a clearly awkward situation. While I shouldn't be casting judgment on the recently deceased, to paraphrase from the Good Book "You are the company you keep" and based on the mugshot that guy murdering someone is about as a surprising as the sun rising in the morning. But I digress, I'm not saying he should've killed her. But what I am saying is you prooooobably shouldn't say "you should just kill me" to the man whose marriage proposal you just denied. If there's one thing we can take away from this tragedy, it's that. I'm no love expert, but that seems like day one stuff. Especially to a guy who looks like he belongs somewhere in the middle of that evolution of man diagram. But we all have that friend that just can't catch on to sarcasm. As a sarcastic person it's the worst, and unfortunately for Tara Serino that's exactly the situation she found herself in. P.S. Poor Chris Tucker (the comedian, not this guy) name back in the media for all the wrong reasons, he could reeeeaaaaally use a break his way. Hope Rush Hour 4 helps!
