I used to HATE P.K. Subban. Mainly because he was one of the best players on my favorite team's biggest rival; the Montreal Canadiens. I haven't been following hockey like I once did, but the P.K. Subban trade really made me scratch my head. A young promising defensemen on the NHL's most historic franchise, shipped off to Nashville of all places for an aging Shea Webber. Just didn't make sense on the surface.
But it didn't take long for P.K. to make Nashville home.
Yep, that's just the newest Nashville Predators defensemen making himself at home in the music city. Just belting out some Johnny Cash at a bar. Performance wasn't as stellar as his slap shot but it was still pretty cool to see. I've already heard Nashville is a wicked fun city and it seems P.K. will fit in just fine. Rocking a swagged out hat, that by the looks of it, he hasn't taken off since he got to Nashville. Seriously. I'm not sure if he's taken a photo without it yet.
He's just probably the coolest dude in hockey. I honestly love this trade just so now I can openly admit my love for PK. He used to kill my Bruins but now it's okay to admit how awesome he is.
I first realized that I couldn't hate this guy anymore at the Winter Classic. When PK showed up to Foxboro wearing this:
I just cannot in good conscious bash swag like that, it's not possible. You are a certified hater if you can't appreciate this suit.
I'll fully admit I'm jumping on the Preds bandwagon now, it's gonna be a fun time with P.K. in SMASHVILLE
P.S. Seriously, P.K. may be the best dude in all of pro sports. Nobody else is doing stuff like this.
That's right TEN MILLION DOLLARS to a children's hospital. Absolutely unprecedented donation from an athlete.
