I gave my fully grown baby sister Song of the Day rights on her birthday, and I decided today that decision officially triggered a new dozonlife trend where I delegate the SOD choice to a loved one on their b-day. It forces me to engage in conversation for at least a text or two. That's something I struggle with because I live inside my head lolol and it basically guarantees a click. Desperate times call for desperate measures (not really though, I'm blowing up...Shit Ubah Drivers Hear has over 740 likes on TikTok as of 7:34 pm).

​Today's SOD honors were bestowed upon one of my best friends Jake redacted last name. Happy Birthday, brotha. Sorry, you went from first to worst in fantasy. What matters is you're winning in real life.

Just realizing now I said "dips" instead of "dibs," I mix in a typo in about 44% of my texts to pay homage to the DOL days  before Grammarly.

Hand up, I assumed this song was on Midnights and am glad I double-checked. I'd feel like a fool if I published a blog with inaccurate information. I can live with a typo, but I strive for everything that isn't my opinion to be 100% factually correct. Like how on this date in 1758 the Duke William sunk in the North Atlantic, killing over 360 people and 167 years later, somehow still alive Dick Van Dyke was born (congrats on turning 97 today).
