Omg Celtics

"Omg" is right, Mr. The Captain aaaand The Truth!

We know they play for banners in Boston, blah, blah, blah. That's true, but can we please also enjoy the ride? This team is fucking nasty and super fun to watch (today's game will get at least 45 seconds on the championship DVD).

The Celtics ELEVENTH win in a row put them in rarified air as the only team in NBA history to win three games in a season by 50 points (or more!). Not bad for an afternoon without
Tingis Pingis.

Right away, you knew this wasn't just another regular season game for the C's, and Jaylen admitted during his halftime interview that I couldn't find fucking anywhere. The Jays stepped up big time in limited action. Mazzulla pulled the starters with like 19 minutes left.

4-5 3P 5-10 3P

At first glance, 82-38 looks like a waaayyy bigger deficit than 44 points.

The word “unbelievable” is perpetually mis-used. But the Celtics’ 82-38 halftime lead over Golden State is, yes, unbelievable. It was tied at 21-21.

In a bizarre decision, the Warriors gave Jaylen Brown more space than the Apollo program. 7uice made them pay early with FIVE first quarter threes.

AND HE CAN PASS!

Jaylen Brown 360 layup the other night, now nearly a 360 assist today. (Maybe a 540 with the dribbling spin before the feed) pic.twitter.com/lmv68l0Rm3

And unlike Boobie Miles, play D.

Jaylen Brown was the primary defender on Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry these last 2 games.

They combined for 11/36 shooting, and were -44 on court.

I LOVE THIS SIDE OF JAYLEN! BE A KILLER, 7!! YOU'RE AN AMAZING ADVOCATE FOR POSITIVE CHANGE OFF THE COURT, BUT WE NEED THIS COLD-BLOODED KILLER ON THE FLOOR!!!

Don't get it twisted.

More teams should take this strategy https://t.co/P8fDaSBZSy

It was an awesome JT's b-day ass-kicking of a team that won the 'ship on our wood, but if the C's don't win it all this season, it'll be a massive disappointment. Stats like these are punchlines without a ring. Boston fans know that all too well, and if you don't, AppleTV+ will gladly remind you in their disappointingly slanted double dynasty docuseries.

On his 26th birthday, Jayson Tatum went 4/5 from deep, which boded quite well for the Doz man!

I love and believe in this team (I gotta get to the Garden again this season). Joe's been great. As long as we're healthy, we can beat anybody in a best-of-seven. The C's are top 3 in offensive and defensive efficiency and more importantly, hungry and motivated. TALK YOUR SHIT, JAYLEN! The fellas know the job hasn't even started yet, but in the same breath, we're all gonna be dead for eternity someday (probably). Enjoy the little things, like blowing out another team by half a hundred. Bleed Green!
