I didn't get out of bed for good until around 3 pm...as a bit, and I thought this story would've died by now, but apparently, the Warriors are still super offended by the Celtics crowd last night. I'm no psychologist, but I'd say this is a little more projecting their anger from a 16-point loss than actual offense from "curse words."
Wahhhhhhh, the crowd chanted "fuck you, Draymond" after he repeatedly treated Celtics players like a blocking sled! How dare they!?!
Give me a FUCKING break.
I've said multiple times throughout this series that I genuinely like Klay. I thought he was cool, but he sounds like straight-up calamari (a squid for older folks) here. Anybody who says "classy" in this way unironically can fall down an elevator shaft for all I'm concerned (not literally). This isn't a gala event. It's the NBA Finals. Stop fucking crying, you PUSSY.
Now, if fans are chanting racist or homophobic shit, that's not cool, and I'm not going to act like that's okay. Fuck that noise, but swearing? Buddy, you're crying about swearing? From the opposing crowd? What do you expect? The whole "kids were around" thing is such pandering bull shit. I've taught for bits and pieces of the last seven years; nobody swears more than kids.
Speaking of racism, this feels like a bunch of dog whistle "Boston's racist" shit, which is tired AF. Do you really think people cheering on Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Robert Williams III, Al Horford, Grant Williams, Derrick White, and Ime Udoka are RACIST??? Does Boston have some unfortunate history? You bet your mother fucking ass it does. More than a lot of places, but this is the United States of America. Almost every other major city in this country has some racist shit in their past that they're not proud of; fuck, some are still proud. Where's the pushback towards them? To paint an entire group of people or an entire city with the same brush seems sort of...
Draymond Green's wife's IG story after the game is some of the most over-the-top bull shit I've ever seen in my time on this planet.
I'm so over this "let's act like being in the NBA is the same as being an accountant" bs too. You're a professional athlete getting paid millions to play a game. Wipe your eyes with some out-of circulation $10,000 bills on the way to your mansion, you rich bitch. Who the fuck is saying NBA players aren't human? Also, I'll play the teacher card again. I got shit thrown at me. Kids treated me like literal garbage while trying to make an actual difference in the world. I love sports (arguably too much), but you play a fucking GAME. Who gives a fuck what the fans say? You're rich.
Also, Warriors fans would NEVER!! hahahahahahaha
I hate this phrase, but in this setting, it's true....Boston is "different." We're not gonna suck our opponent's dick (unless that opponent's Tom Brady)-- lest we forget!
This one is hilarious. Like, it's such a fucking lie. Did "another" have a fucking tally going?
Not the middle finger!?!??!
Draymond's response to that was actually cool too. I respect the realness, which is why I hate this whole ordeal so much. It's hypocritical nonsense.
LOL @ the great irony of crying about swearing in front of CHILDREN!
I'll give you that shit and fuck aren't on the same level, but I'd bet my life if he's saying shit around his son in a press conference setting, he's heard him say a lot worse.
Also, I get it; people change. I'm nowhere close to the man I was in 2016 (thank God, but I'd kill for that body), but Klay was singing a much different tune about players dealing with "rude" fans back then.
Game 4 is gonna be a blood bath. If the Warriors don't want to go home down 3-1, I suggest they worry more about Draymond giving them more than 2 points than what fans say after he tries to rip Jaylen Brown in half or pancake Grant Williams.
My future boss put it perfectly. C's in 6.
This is why Adam Silver is the best commissioner in the Big 4. Sure it's sort of by default, but he's a solid guy!
