Depending on how quickly I can bang out this blog, we've got about another hour to be souped off of last weekend's unexpected Bills win. If we win today, I am all the way back in on the Pats maaaaybe making a playoff run. Somewhat surprisingly, the Pats are sticking with a significant part of their 2nd win of the season down in Miami today.
That's right, baby! The Pats are wearing silver pants for just the 3rd time since their post-Brady breakup mistakes came out in 2020. Clearly, it doesn't work for all cases (Patricia would've never made it through last season), but by the looks of that lazy and low-key petty caption, the Pats listened to what their fans want! I hope we never see the blueberries ever again!!
I'm gonna drop a little Sunday morning/afternoon history lesson for you loyal DOL readers. This is not the first time the Pats have taken their fans opinions into consideration when it comes to how they look on the field. In 1979, the Patriots gave their fans a chance to decide their logo during halftime of a home game. Thanks to democracy, New England avoided this (the middle pic...duh) fugly precursor to their current "Flying Elvis" logo.
If it were up to me, we'd go back to the three-point stance logo full time. No bias, these really are one of the best looking unis in all of sports.

I'm not saying the fans bullied the Pats into wearing silver bottoms again, but when even the Doz man is catching a couple hundred likes, you know it's something people must really care about.
Vibes matter. I am a vibes guy guy and I love this energy going into Miami!!! Anything to help us get our first post-Brady win in Miami.
I know the NFL has a bunch of unnecessary rules when it comes to uniforms, but the league really should give it's co-leader in Super Bowl victories a mulligan. Let them make the blue on silver look full-time again for home games and road ones where their opponent wears white and like any non-Patriots league controversy, we can just act like the blueberries never happened. Don't forget the Dolphins lost a first-round pick too!
P.S. I appreciate all good uniforms, and Miami is rocking one of their best today. These should be full-time. Their current uniforms are gross. If we worn our reds, this would be an ELITE jersey matchup.
