VIA: www.si.com/extra-mustard/2016/09/14/patriots-tom-brady-diet-strawberry-interview 'Tom Brady has learned that he doesn’t love strawberries or coffee by never having tried either at all, a commitment no mortal man could ever conceive of pulling off. “I’ve never eaten a strawberry in my life. I have no desire to do that.” Never? “Absolutely not.” First things first. Brady isn't going anywhere let's all slow our rolls after Sunday. Secondly, Tom Brady is one of the pickiest eaters ever and has the weirdest diet of all time. Most Patriot fans should know that. There are many foods that us normal folks consider healthy that TB12 would've even look at. You think eggplant is healthy? Brady laughs in your face and knows they cause inflammation, along with tomatoes and mushroom. He knows health, the man has played in the NFL for like 29 years and has only had 1 major injury. I'm gonna take his word when it comes to eating health. But why I really love him (other than because he's the best QB ever, has given me endless joy, is extremely cool, handsome, and overall is perfect) is because he's the pickiest eater of all time and has a diet that many would call "strange" Do you know who else is wicked picky and has a weird diet? I'll give you a hint. That's right, ME.
I'm picky too Tom and for similar reasons. I hate eggplants, tomatoes and mushrooms because they cause all of that inflammation and are clearly not healthy enough for me.... No, it has nothing to with because they're vegetables. Tom doesn't drink coffee? Guess what TB12, neither does RM58. Coffee is disgusting, mud water that mentality weak people drink to stay awake instead of just staying awake. Us alphas don't need that garbage in the temples that are our bodies. Now it appears Brady is all set with strawberries. Well guess who else has been all set with strawberries from the jump? You guessed it, me! Not about how messy they can be, all the seeds, and the fact that they are a fruit. Now I'm not gonna totally abandon this fruit. Just in fruit form. I am a BIG strawberries Dels guy. It's the best flavor hands down and if you say lemon you're a psycho. If you say grapefruit then you should be publicly executed. But what I love most about Brady's pickiness is like me, he doesn't need to try a food to totally write it off. Smart men like us can just tell by looking at something that it is gross and we do not need that. Have I ever eaten Indian food? No, I haven't but I can tell that that shit is gross. I LOVE Mexican food (Chipotle) but hate most salsas and especially guacamole. Does it matter that I've never tried it? No it doesn't. I haven't had sex with a dude either, but I know that's not for me. While Tom is a big avocado ice cream guy, the message of totally writing things off without trying still applies. Tom has never had a strawberry but knows he doesn't fuck with them. I've had like 9 strawberries in my life and I too know they are not my cup of tea. I absolutely love that Brady is not a coffee guy as well. I tried coffee when I was like 10 and thought it was the most disgusting thing of all time. Legit threw up. Like I actually vomited from having a coffee coolata. Have my tastes changed in the 14 years that have since passed? Yes, they have, but it doesn't change that I'm not going to drink nasty ass coffee. I rather just fight through being tired like a man. So yeah, the similarities are pretty much endless when it comes to me and Tom. Very similar diets. Does it matter that pizza makes up 75% of what I eat and he probably hasn't had pizza since the 90's? No it doesn't. Tom isn't about that processed flour life. While we don't see eye to eye on that, I'd say we're on the same page for almost everything else.

How do you follow up the biggest miss of your career?
Oh how about winning AFC Special Team Player of the Week to start the following season?
Pretty happy to see SG3 bounce back. I don't think the Pats lost the AFC Championship Game solely because of Gostkowski's missed extra point, but at the same time, if he hits it I think the complexion of that game is extremely different. It just felt like a punch in the gut when he shanked it, like it was going to be a long, shitty day. Which we (Patriot fans) know it ended up being. I hate saying that because he has been so reliable for the last decade.... but I do believe the Pats win that game if they tied the game at 7-7 instead of still being down 7-6 after Steven Jackson scored a TD. Then they aren't relying on a 2 point conversion in the final seconds. Maybe the Pats kick field goals instead of failing TWICE on 4th down in the 4th quarter. Idk how the game plays out, maybe they do still lose, but after not missing an extra point for nearly a decade it was shocking to say the least. Also probably worst possible time to miss an extra point. It happened though, time to focus on the season at hand.
I think for a confidence stand point this is exactly what you want to see from your kicker. After a big miss with an entire off season to think about it, you come back with a perfect 3-3 night in field goals including a game winner (and two extra points as well). With the new kickoff rules in place, Gostkowski and the kick off team did a fantastic job pinning the Cardinals inside the 20 yard line as well. With no Brady for 3 more weeks, Gostkowski is going to be huge. Jimmy played very well on Sunday night but the Patriots only had two touchdown drives. Kicking game is going to be very important if the Patriots cannot finish drives. SG3 accounted for 11 of the Patriots 23 points. I'd expect another double digit scoring performance for Steve against the Dolphins on Sunday. Song: Along the Road Artist: Karmin Album: Leo Rising
As some of you may know like two weeks ago I started driving with Uber. For someone with... lets call it "limited real life responsibilities" like me it's perfect, I can drive people around for extra money when I'm bored. Well let me tell you in two weeks I have already had some rather interesting experiences driving for Uber, and now I'm going to share them with you. Oh also if you are interested in joining and driving with Uber use my code: "RYANM3551"
Gotta give credit to my friend Pat for planting the idea in my brain. Basically we were talking about wanting to go to David Ortiz' final regular season home game and how I'm gonna need a miracle to afford a decent seat. So he suggested driving with UBER. Wednesday I signed up, it took like maybe 20 minutes and Thursday I was out on the road. I didn't really know what to expect, I've only used UBER like 2 or 3 times before. Surprisingly it's actually kind of fun for a part time gig, I can work basically whenever I want. You get a notification that someone needs a ride, you either accept it or deny it, then you pick them up and bring them to where they wanna go. Pretty simple stuff. I do not like that as the driver you cannot see where a potential clients end destination is until the ride officially begins. That kind of sucks. Anyways, in my first week I completed 29 trips and I thought some of you would maybe like to hear about the ones I found most interesting. If this is a hit (literally 1 persons tells me think like it) I'll do it every week...... I've been trying to figure out a way to blog this for two weeks I've written an entire other blog but was worried about the reaction so instead for the first UBER Chronicles I'm going to do a favorite moments from my first two weeks driving. Again I'm just reporting the news, some stuff may offend people but it's supposed to be funny, so take the stick out of ya butt.
My First Official UBER Ride
So my plan Thursday after I got out of the dentist office (luckily they did not mention dozo-the-dentist.html to me) was to drive to Newport to start UBERing, knew it'd be way busier there. But I turned on my app just to see if people on this side of the bridge needed rides. Lucky for me some family at the Holiday Inn needed a ride to Newport. This ride was rather uneventful (aka not funny) but I just thought it was note worthy that I got so lucky with that. As I said, as the driver you have no idea where the rider is going until they're already in your car. For the record, I could be wrong, but I have not found out how to figure out the end location yet.
Anyways it was awesome to get paid to drive to Newport when I was already planning on go, great start for me on my first ride. What I love about going over the bridge is that UBER automatically gives you $4 for the toll even though with an EZ pass it's like 86 cents. Not that matters to me.....I don't pay for that shit..thanks pops. After I dropped them off ride one was officially in the books and I was ready to start grinding.
Real Life Rain Man
It's Thursday night and I've been driving for like three hours. I get a request to pick up somebody by the Dominos on the Middletown/Newport line. Then I immediately get a call from some old man telling me I need to bring his grandson to East Providence. This is where being a nice guy with a guilty conscience really gets me in trouble. I was NOT trying to go all the way up to East Providence but I already had accepted the ride and didn't wanna back out on this kid. Plus I felt bad because the kid needed a ride and didn't wanna leave him there.
Now I meet up with this guy who's around my age and I'm not making fun of his condition, I'm laughing at how ridiculous of a statement this was. After all he's still a normal human and all human should be allowed to get made fun of. That's my motto. Anyways the kid leads off by telling my he has aspergers and lost all his money playing slots at Newport Grand. Now to me, that is a very odd thing to lead off with. Talk about getting really heavy, really quickly. At least say what's up or ask about the weather first. I'm a perfect stranger. Also I thought people on the spectrum were good at gambling? If Rainman or the Hangover taught me anything it is that. Maybe it's because he was playing slots and not table games? Anyways, It's a decently long drive so we talk a lot. Mainly about music, dude was realllllly into the Talking Heads, so being the 4.86 star UBER driver I am, I played some for him. When you're in the car with me it doesn't matter who you are, I'm gonna play what you wanna hear. Some loser the other night asked for EDM and I played it for it. I'm willing to do whatever it takes. He was a cool kid and if he didn't tell me he had aspergers I never would have noticed. As a fellow gambler myself, my biggest message to him was to not play slots. That shit is a racket. Table games or bust. They're a racket too but at least there's a human screwing you over instead of a machine. Also I want to give my man credit for sitting in the front seat. Idk if it's just uber/taxi life but sitting in the back seat is weird to me. Especially when it's a long ride or there's 3 people in the car. That family I drove to Newport on my first ride was 3 people and they all squished in the backseat. Like I'm not gonna hurt you up front, idk it just bums me out like are people like scared of me? Idk I'm kinda just thinking out loud. I'm just saying don't be afraid to sit up front and interact. (DOL disclaimer, if you get offended by a great Rainman/Hangover reference or joking about things that actually happened in real life, don't shoot the messenger, I still need to be able to find a job)
I'm Just Telling You What He Said
It's like 6 PM Saturday and I'm in Warwick. I get a request to pick someone up at the Chick-Fil-A. It's two young RISD students. As I always do, I asked "what do you want to listen to?" Seeing as they were RISD students and by the way they looked I asked "Is BRU cool?" Because it's my favorite station, and I mean they looked like alt-rock fans.
Then the guy speaks and has the meanest gay lisp I've ever heard and says "Do you have any trashy pop? I wanna hear some reaaaaaaaally trashy pop". Again, I'm just reporting what I heard. I've said it a million times, DOL is an extremely gay friendly publication, but come on bro, gays have been fighting for years for rights, and equality and then you give literally the most stereotypical answer a gay RISD student could ever give? Be better than that bro. Also what is "trashy pop?" I'm a big music guy and was kind of blown away by that term. Is it like music by trashy musicians? Really shitty pop? I was lost. My guess is he just wanted to hear Ke$ha because she's trashy AF. But I just kept on WBRU.
Bringing 6 Basic White Girls to 2nd Beach
It's a Sunday morning and I just dropped off someone on Thames. I immediately get a call from this chick who's ride I just accepted. She asks if it's cool that they squish an extra person in the car. Now TBH I hate doing this but I wanted to be cool and a good driver, so I played it off cool and say sure it's fine.
After waiting a couple minutes these 6 goddesses come out and it's like I was living inside of instagram. I didn't think girls this hot were humanly possible, but they were. Of course they had all the wicked basic hot white girl beach gear too. Like these chicks had body glitter, temporary tattoos, wicked cool clothes, the hippie headbands, and those hot like metal arm bracelet things. Idk how to describe it but it's something only 9-10's can pull off. They had a fucking inflatable swan too jammed in my backseat like I think they were gonna do a photo shoot or something. Oh and the smell. I don't think I've ever smelt something so good in my entire life. It was like liked this mixed perfumes. Which if you watch It's Always Sunny, you know that doesn't work. Yet for these ladies it did. So we finally start driving, first I ask what music they want. They wanted that new chainsmokers song. Of course they did. Should've known. Again basic city: population these 6 chicks. Then they are talking about my barstool sticker on my jeep. One of the girls told me she was a smokeshow before because of course she was. We start talking about that and how you become one, basically told me Pres just creeped her on F book. Again, should've known. She said she'd text him to hire me..still waiting to hear back. Then they start asking me why I UBER and one girl asked why I "bought a car with no aux cord?" Like only these basic white bitches could ask something like this. I hate using the term "privileged" but holy shit wanna talk privileged?...Umm yo, we weren't all given white BMW's by our daddies. Some of our daddies gave us 05 Grand Cherokees babe. Aux-cords were still years away. Now we're approaching 2nd beach and this is where I start to worry because I have way too many people in my car and there are like 4 cops doing detail work and I'm really not trying to get a ticket to start my Sunday. I tell the girls to duck and luckily they were cool AF about it. But then when get to 2nd beach I'm like where do you want me to drop you off? They say "right here is fine".... Right here being two feet away from the little booth thing and the attendants working. So now this older guy, like mid 60's trying to be some big hardo, starts busting my balls about having too many people in my car. Like bro, I know, but I'm just an UBER driver trying to make a living, get my 5 stars and maybe some sympathy butt. Be more of a cock-block. Now obviously I don't have a snowballs chance in hell with any of these ladies but at least let me look cool for 20 seconds. He's like this could be a $600 ticket, and I just go "but it's not right?". He's not a cop so he couldn't do shit. I help these hotties get their inflatable swan out of my car and go on my way. Still waiting on that text from Pres.
I Got Pulled Over
It's Thursday night and I just picked up 5 people (1 too many for my car) from some house to go to another party. Again, like the girls in Newport whoever bought the ride called me and asked if it was cool to squeeze an extra in? Again, I hate doing this but said it was cool because I wanna be cool and who knows maybe they'll actually tip or something.
I start driving and go past a rotary then see a cop following me. I think in my head, damnit I went too fast or something and know I'm gonna get pulled over. I tell the people in the car I think we're gonna get pulled over and because they're naive college students they're like "nah you're good" but I knew I wasn't. 2 Seconds later I see flashing lights and start to panic. I mean I'm driving UBER with one too many people in my car and figure I'm dead meat. Cops asks for license and registration, you know how it goes. Asks about my driving record and I tell him the truth, it's great. Haven't been in an accident in 6 years, no tickets. Then I say the magic words and let him know I'm an UBER driver, and man let me tell you, you wanna talk about a literal "get out of jail free" card that was it. I don't know if he didn't notice or was just cool AF, but he didn't say a word about the extra person. I was let go right away and the cop was super chill. So let it be known that not all cops are bad, in fact most are good. And no they didn't tip for letting an extra person ride. So I guess that's it. Those are the trips that really stuck out in my memory. Hope you enjoyed. I'll be driving more this week, hopefully (nobody throws up in my car) I'll have some more good stories to tell! I've been avoiding talking about Kaepernick situation and everything for many reasons. To say race relations across the country are strong right now would be a flat out lie. I can't lie at first, I was pissed off at Kaepernick, but as time has passed I understand what he was trying to do. Now while I disagree with some things he's said and done, overall I respect his major theme that there needs to be change. Because I do think there needs to be a lot of changes, but this blog isn't about my views on Kap. It's about all the different gestures players across the league demonstrated. I just think it's important to respect and show love for America. Let it not be mistaken, despite our flaws we are the greatest nation on earth. On the 15th anniversary of one of the darkest moments in our nation's history it is vital to show respect and honor all those who lost their lives that day, and since fighting for our freedom.
First I want to start with the Seattle Seahawks. One of my least favorite teams in the NFL. Despite that, I absolutely love what they did yesterday.
Instead of disrespecting the flag by sitting or taking a knee, the Seahawks stood and showed respect while at the same time making a statement. The team locked arms, black and white united to show strength and unity, not just as a team but also as a nation. I loved this. Brothers in arms, doesn't matter who you are, or where you're from, it's men teaming up together for a common goal. That really is what America is built on.
We are all in this together, as Americans. I always feel like I have to walk on eggshells talking about race, mainly because I'm a middle class white guy from Rhode Island but this move was amazing. I could be totally wrong here but this is how I feel personally, and hopefully there are others that have similar thoughts. I may joke about racial stereotypes, but that's because they're funny, and I hate when people get so easily offended but at the end of the day I have no issues with anybody strictly based on race. There are millions of great people in this country; white, black, brown, red, purple, blue it doesn't matter. We need to do what I do and hate the shitty people. There are tons of shitty black people, but guess what there are tons of shitty white people too. Those are the people I hate. Those are the ones who people are angry at. I hate the black people that make our nation unsafe. I hate the white people who do the same thing. Whether it's shootings in a bad neighborhood, nightclub, movie theater, mall or a school it all needs to fucking stop. But the media will skew things to make us hate each other. Obviously I think it's terrible the police are killing innocent people, but we cannot let a few bad people ruin the good name of our law enforcement. I'd say like at least 95% of police officers are good people that just want to keep their areas safe and go home. They all went into law enforcement for the right reasons. There are men and women of all religions, backgrounds and races protecting us we cannot lump all cops in as bad people, THAT is stereotyping and extremely hypocritical of those claiming they feel oppressed. The Kansas City Chiefs came back from a 17 point deficit to beat the Chargers yesterday, and they also locked arms in unity during the anthem.
CB Marcus Peters partook in the movement with his team and also held up a fist in solidarity with Kaepernick. I have no issue with this move at all and respect Peters for his decision, he spoke more about what he did after the game. These men across the NFL are using their platform to express their voice and have the rights to do so in America. That is what makes us different from other countries.
JJ Watt of the Houston Texans helped hold the American Flag during the National Anthem.
That brings us my favorite team, the New England Patriots. Playing on Sunday Night Football, the nationally televised game of the week, Patriots @ Cardinals, in a match up of each league's runner-up from 2015. Many called it a Super Bowl preview. Emotions were running wild during a powerful rendition of the Anthem by Kristin Chenoweth.
The Patriots had black players(Martellus Bennett and Devin McCourty) standing, while also raising a fist in unity. Very Powerful.
And WR Danny Amendola, like many other players across the league helped hold the flag.
Overall I think it was a very cool day across the NFL to see many different players, white and black expressing their views, patriotism, unity, and disdain all at the same time. It's what America is all about, I think it's cool to see the real human sides of these guys we just watch play a game. Social changes still need to be made in this nation and if these guys can help make a positive change in our great nation then I am all for that.
You literally had one job.
Yesterday was one of the biggest days of the sports calendar. The true start to the 2016 NFL season, as there was a full slate of games. It's also one of the biggest days of the fantasy sports calendar, because on opening day everybody has a chance. We're all 0-0. Everybody truly believes, maybe this is the year I finally win. Cause in a few weeks when there are going to be thousands of 0-5 fantasy teams with no chance. Probably millions of teams with the same shitty, played out names using Harambe ( you aren't original, I agree Harambe was killed in vain as well, but just be better and more original. RIP in Peace sweet boy) so the buzz of fantasy football will die down a little. Yesterday was the biggest day of the year fantasy wise and ESPN decided to celebrate this by having not only the app crash, but the internet version went down as well. Obviously (maybe) ESPN didn't do this on purpose, but seriously be better ESPN. People are already cutting the cable cord and not watching you as much. You cannot fuck up fantasy football. I do not want to under sell it....Literally millions of people were upset yesterday and it was all your fault, good job. I cannot stand ESPN but cannot turn my back on the monopoly they're running, but I'm sure this problem today will lead to many people playing leagues with yahoo next season. Now I know literally less than nothing when it comes to anything about computers other than how to type on a keyboard, but come on you have to be better. Maybe run a few tests? Idk, I'd think you'd want to be ready for day 1. Yeah maybe in week 11 this can happen and the world won't explode, but not week 1. I don't understand servers or anything but idk maybe, have some back up? How does this happen? And how does it take 5 hours to fix this? You can't get some nerds to fix the app in an hour? Also I don't want to have to be the one to say it, but has cyber-terrorism been ruled out yet? I mean the stars were aligning.... 15 year anniversary of 9/11, week 1 NFL, and America's obsession with fantasy football. Obviously ISIS and other big threats have bigger things to worry about then us Americans playing fantasy football. But if it was them, that is one great troll job. Because in the grand scheme of things, it's harmless but really irritated millions of people. Okay maybe not harmless, but I hope you can get my point.
I love this video for many reasons.
Obviously we all know after 17 years Bill tries to never give the media/future opponents any inside information/bulletin board material in post game press conferences. However the change of pace with a extremely sarcastic answer is funny to me. It doesn't happen often, but I love when Bill does stuff like this. Yeah we also got the same old canned response of "we need to be better coaching, playing, offensively, defensively and on special teams" but I loved seeing Bill poke a little fun at the media.
That being said I don't believe for one second Belichick truly believes this. I know he's life long football guy so maybe he actually is a robot or something, but if he's not, any human with a brain, conscious, and emotions can't help but notice the similarities between the Bledsoe-Brady QB controversy, and what could potentially happen here if Jimmy keeps playing well. While I don't think Brady isn't going anywhere. It should take a lot more than 1 win (helped a LOT by a fantastic defense) to dethrone King Brady. Last night was the media's wet dream storyline wise. Sure people still hate the Patriots, but after last night's game there is ton of stuff to talk/write about. Because truth be told I think Bill LOVES the storyline, but will never publicly admit it. This man has done almost everything that can be done as a football coach, and yes he has had Tom Brady, but do not for one second think he doesn't get off on proving the doubters wrong. He gets off on being the smartest man in the room. That's why he does stuff that nobody else does in the NFL. He used a linebacker as tight end in TWO Super Bowls, oh and he scored a TD in each of them. He makes the tough personal decisions that even Patriot fans scratch their heads at, yet almost always seem to work out. He drafts important specialists "high" in the draft so he can get exactly who he wants even if the draft experts call him a crazy person. He wins with every style of offense imaginable. He keeps proving the doubters wrong. Oh....our season was over when Brady tore his ACL? Okay I'll just go 11-5 with Matt fucking Cassel, a man who never made a start at QB in college. Oh you think we're 9.5 point dogs to a Cardinals team with a suspect QB? Okay time to just win outright with essentially a rookie and shut the whole nation up. Belichick is the best of all time in any sport and it's not even close. Sure there may be other coaches in across all sports with more championships, but what Bill has done year in and year out in the NFL were the league is designed to not have sustained success is truly remarkable. 15+ years of dominance, with no legit off years, Patriots have won at least 10 games in every season since 2003. While Brady obviously makes things easier for Belichick, last night he showed that he can win with anybody. Sure last night was only one game. But it was huge game, a statement win to the NFL, you can take away our Hall of Fame, Greatest of All Time QB, a million bucks, and two draft picks, but we'll stick kick your fucking ass, and that's what happened last night. 1-0. Bring on Miami. Song: Hate to Say I Told You So Artist: The Hives Album: Veni Vidi Vicious Yeah, yeah, I know the season technically started last night but I've been busy and never got a chance to make my NFL preview/predictions blog. The Broncos and Panthers may have played last night but it's not really gonna change much for my predictions. Anyways, lets start with the NFC. NFC West: After being a laughing stock for like a decade the NFC West is now one of the premiere divisions in the NFL. The Seahawks and 49ers have both made Super Bowl appearances over the last 5 seasons, and last year the Cardinals went 13-3. Nuts to think that in 2010 a 7-9 team won this division. Now that will get you third place. Even the Rams are always a tough out. 4. San Francisco 49ers As for impacting the rest of the NFL, the 49ers are irrelevant other than this whole Kaepernick saga. I'm just so over it I don't care for either side anymore, it's been like 2 weeks can we just move on? The talent on this roster sucks & 49ers have 0.00% chance of making the playoffs this year. Chip Kelly on paper should be a great fit because Kaepernick is the perfect Chip Kelly QB. At least he was in 2012-13. Now Kaep is washed up and can't even start over Blaine Gabbert. So crazy to me how quickly this team went from one of the NFL's best to one of the worst in like 18 months. Over 6 wins would shock me. 3. Los Angeles Rams
2. Seattle Seahawks
1. Arizona Cardinals
NFC South: This division is irrelevant. Don't even want to waste my time writing about it but here we go. 4. Atlanta Falcons
3. New Orleans Saints 2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1. Carolina Panthers
NFC North: It sucks Teddy Bridgewater got hurt, I really like his game a lot and thought this year the Vikings would take the next step. Sucks that fanbase had it robbed from them, but let's be honest, I'm sure the Vikings would've found a way to screw it up. I feel like the Bears and Lions are the same team. They are interchangeable at this point. 4. Chicago Bears 3. Minnesota Vikings 2. Detroit Lions
1. Green Bay Packers NFC East: Always the toughest division to handicap, I have no idea what to expect. I could go 4-4 or 0-4 on division picks and neither would shock. Actually that's not true, we can all pencil in the Eagles at 4. 4. Philadelphia Eagles 3. New York Giants 2. Dallas Cowboys 1. Washington Redskins AFC: AFC West: AFC West has 3 teams with legit playoff hopes. Sorry Chargers. I'm very interested to see how things play out. Are the Raiders back or are they still a year away? What can we expect from the defending Super Bowl Champion Broncos? Will Andy Reid learn how to manage the clock? 4. San Diego Chargers 3. Denver Broncos
2. Oakland Raiders 1. Kansas City Chiefs
AFC South: I think the AFC South is one of the most interesting divisions in football. Going into last year it looked as if it wasn't going to be the Colts division again for the next 5 years or so. Then Andrew Luck went down and it opened the door for the Texans. The Texans who replaced Brian Hoyer at QB, now have Brock Osweiler (who I still don't fully believe) which is a clear upgrade from Hoyer. Do the Jags take the next step forward after showing last year that offensively they can hang with almost anybody? 4. Tennessee Titans 3. Indianapolis Colts 2. Houston Texans
1. Jacksonville Jaguars AFC North: I know I've said it for like three other divisions, but I think the North is wide open. Bengals and Steelers are the two best teams but you cannot count out the Ravens, especially with Flacco back. Even when they were losing with him last year they were all very close games. Even the Browns, who knows? New coach, and maybe RG3 can save his career. 4. Cleveland Browns 3. Baltimore Ravens 2. Cincinnati Bengals 1. Pittsburgh Steelers
AFC East: Even without Brady for 4 weeks I still think this is the Patriots division, as it has been for 15 years. However the other 3 teams, despite their flaws, all could find a way to sneak into the playoffs. 4. Miami Dolphins 3. Buffalo Bills
2. New York Jets 1. New England Patriots Playoff Predictions:
Conference Championship: NFC: 1 Packers over 2 Cardinals AFC: 1 Patriots over 3 Chiefs Super Bowl: Patriots over Packers Awards:
MVP: Aaron Rodgers (Packers) Offensive Player of the Year: Antonio Brown (Steelers) Defensive Player of the Year: Khalil Mack (Raiders) Offensive Rookie of the Year: Ezekiel Elliot (Cowboys) Defensive Rookie of the Year: Miles Jack (Jaguars) Coach of the Year: Gus Bradley (Jaguars) Comeback Player of the Year: Jordy Nelson (Packers) |
