#DozVsTheDozen Returns (tn @ 7:05) With a Thursday Night Doubleheader

​Hello loyal DOL readers. I'm sorry for the lack of blogs this week. I was with my daddy the past three days and haven't had the time to write. I've been much too busy averaging 28 words an hour with him, but the boi is back with fantastic news!

After a brief hiatus following the Windy City Clash, the final two Dozen matches of the regular season air tonight at 7:00 pm, which means #DozVsTheDozen is back at 7:05! We've got two great matchups with plenty of seeding implications. (12) Misfits vs. (T-15) Gen XYZ in the first leg of the DH and (6) Experts vs. (13) Chiclets to round out the night.

Speaking of the Windy City Clash, the #DVTD finals are now up on Youtube.

​That tournament was certainly not my finest hour. 0-3 in a single day. Never good. That's not how I should've been rewarded after initially backing out to spend 4/20 with my family, like the hashtag good guy I am. Due to a technical issue, all three matches aired on Thursday the 21st (in case you forgot; it's been a while). And yeah, it is true; I'm at an even worse disadvantage in a tournament setting. Not only am I unable to score during the Bonus Round, but the match ends once someone has mathematically won. So hypothetically speaking, if it's round 10 and a team is winning 11-4, but I've got 10 points, the match is over even though I could totally come back and win with that much trivia left to play. Some may call it an excuse, but I think it's just a better explanation for the fans at home.

Before that showing in a winless tripleheader (did I mention I had to wake up early (10:45 am) for the first two legs?), the Doz man was just starting to hit his stride, too; 4-2 in the last six matches. Tonight we'll try to end the regular season on a high note.
