Hello friends (™ Jim Nantz) it's ya boi Ole Dozo and I need your help!
ICYMI I appeared on the KFC Radio (Barstool Podcast) Game Show "Social Distancing: The Game Show" last Thursday. While I did not win, I personally am counting the appearance as a victory since it showed my name and face to literally thousands of people who before Thursday didn't even know I can breathe.
As I continue to use quarantine to write and make content I am going to send out a little something for the great people at Barstool Sports to take a look at. I've applied to Barstool in the past, but for the most part I just tweet out my blogs to my 18 followers and pray that the right persons sees them and is like "yo Dozie, do you want a job?"
In an attempt to make myself more hirable for barstoolsports.com and show that I mean business I'm currently putting together a portfolio of my best work. Here's the problem; actually problems.
1. My laptop is running so slowly that Don Beebe is going stop it from scoring in the Super Bowl.
2. My stoner/elite at repressing emotional trauma brain has a trouble recalling four plus years of blogs.
3. I am not that funny.
I've been trying to edit old blogs and put together a best of since DOL showcase since my day started at 10:43 but it's getting quite frustrating. I know DOL isn't the New York Times, but I see the pageviews. People technically look at this website. I'm trying the best I can to do this alone, but I'm convinced my computer is trying to sabotage me for having an interest in Progressive Era politics and Real Estate porn.
Believe me, I know the blogs I've written and am really proud of, but I'm hopeful that the beautiful, intelligent readers of dozonlife dot com or as it's more commonly referred to as me, DOL will come through with some of their faves for a different perspective. Don't be scared to comment what blogs you've really enjoyed over the years. It'd be a real shame if this got no interactions and made me look as if I don't average 1.06 pageviews per click. To go full-Beatles-circle I'll end leave you with this:
