DOL Too Many Legs Teaser of the Week (Week 17)

We've got six games in the 1 pm slot and EIGHT at 4:25 with seven playoff spots up for grabs; even with expanded playoffs, there's still plenty left to be decided in a loaded Week 17 schedule. Plus Sunday Night Football is a quasi-NFC East Championship Game. If the Football team wins; they're in the playoffs. If the Eagles win; the winner of Cowboys-Giants is the NFC East champ. We could see a 6-10 New York Football Giant team hosting a Wild Card game.

From an individual standpoint, we could still see Derrick Henry surpass the 2,000 yard mark...maaaybe even a 50 TD burger from Aaron Rodgers in the city of wind? 

While the calendar and your phone's home screen may say it's 2021, we all know the new year officially begins tomorrow. #DSM. As for today, let's enjoy our final Sunday of the 2020 NFL Regular Season with a 7th #TooManyLegs victory.

At 6-9 and +49 units on the season, with starters resting and some teams already mailing it in for the year, I thought about retiring this bet for Week 17 to keep #TooManyLegs' debut record nice, but I just can't do that to the doz-ens of you who've ridden #TooManyLegs at one some this season. I'm just trying to give the people a 7th stimulus.

Let's just agree in this bonus "it's 2020 and 2021 at the same time" situation we've got ourselves into this Week 17 that with plenty of uncertainty around the league regarding who's in and out or eligible to play that if TML loses this week we're simply not counting it towards the official record. TML went 6-9 in 2020 that's just a fact. Of course if we win we'll want to celebrate that.

Before I get into the picks, I want to thank everybody who has been reading DOL and riding these picks throughout the season. Of course I wish the success of this tongue-in-cheek longshot teaser got some more eyeballs on DOL, but it seriously makes me so happy to know my half-assed process has helped a handful of people make some extra money during these difficult times. I appreciate your faith in the boi. You're the hipsters who were going to the underground shows before the commercial break through. You knew about #TooManyLegs before it blew up. You should be proud. I'm sorry we had such a cold streak during the middle of the season, but like the Chicago Bears, we rebounded late.

I'm cool with three wins in five weeks to end the season. With totals so low this week I feel like we're gonna find plenty of ways for teams to get into the 20s.
